Presentation and abstract guidelines

Abstract

A book of abstracts will be published. Abstracts of oral or poster presentations must be sent at the moment of making the online registration. Maximum length of the abstract is 2000 characters (incl. character spacing), no figures, graphs and tables. Abstracts in correct English are accepted only.

Oral Presentation

The allocated time for oral presentations is 15 minutes in total. This includes the time for the presenter to be introduced, the presentation itself and question time. Therefore, the very presentation should be no longer than 12 minutes. The presenters will have access to a PC-compatible (no Mac) laptop with an LCD projector. Please, bring your PowerPoint presentation to the meeting on a flash drive or CD in order to load it into the in-room laptops. You will not be able to use your own laptop for your presentation. You can load your presentation to one of the conference laptops before the first session, or during the breaks preceding your presentation. There will be a support staff member in each room to help you.

Poster Presentation

Each poster will be allocated space of 1.0 x 1.2 m. The preferred poster format is with the height larger than the width. It is advisable to hang the posters sometime before the poster session on the day of the respective session, if possible. The posters will have to be removed by the end of the day of each session. The presenters are kindly requested to be standing next to their posters in the Poster Room until the end of each Poster Sessions (see the Programme for the exact timing – will be a part of the 3^rd Announcement).
